FILLMORE COUNTY SCHOOL RECEIVES A SPECIAL VISITOR    

Geoff Mickells, a medical student and SE-AHEC SEARCH student, visited students at Fillmore County and helped them understand how doctors use different instruments to help them so they feel better.  Students volunteered to let Dr. Geoff look into their ears, eyes and mouth with an otoscope, listen to their heartbeat with a stethoscope and check their reflexes with a reflex hammer.  Dr. Mickells wanted the students to realize that doctors care about making them well and they don’t need to be afraid of them.
